About Valley Market
Valley Market is a community-owned and democratically run business. We are an excited group of volunteers who are interested in making a difference in the health and well being of our community. Though we are in the development stages, our vision is to open a retail natural food co-op emphasizing locally grown and produced food and products.
Why a Cooperative Food Market?

- To keep the money we pay for products within our community
- To fuel the regional economy by providing a year-round market for local farmers and producers
- To get locally-produced, organic and minimally-processed food
- To have a community gathering place where we can learn and grow
- To help keep Shenandoah Valley family farms vibrant
